  1. This ended up being a story of friendship / religious conversion rather than yuri. We already have problems with the story moving too fast, and there wasn’t space to cover any yuri. I’m even afraid that yuri might not even be appropriate given the main focus of the story.

Also note that Daiyousei has disappeared from the cover.

  2. Touhou pairings don’t need to be yuri at all (and wouldn’t make sense if it had been inserted in the story). This is a great example of how the power of friendship can be The Strongest bond.

Might share this with the Danbooru community.

  3. great job finally finishing it! I’m not a touhou fan, but it was a nice story. It’s good to read something lighter and softer every once in a while.

  4. Nice, I liked the ending. The background visuals on pages 4 & 5 in particular impressed me. Cute credits page, too. Good going Sixten, even with the starts and stops. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.

  5. Cute =/= yuri – in fact, I would venture out to say that yuri usually isn’t cute, and is more sexual/romantic, especially if it’s not cute yuri (did I just say that?)

Anyways, wow, that was a refreshing read! You definitely did cut everything down to its essentials, which made the story more true to heart than ever before.

Two last (unimportant) notes: why is this titled Fairy Ring anyways?

    And where’s Masha? 😛
