Sick of spring

Spring is here again, which means I must suffer from my allergies. In Spring I can’t breathe through my nose without help, I start crying when I’m on the UW campus, and I wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air as though some Sith was trying to kill me. This year my allergies are worse than ever, and I had to go see a doctor once they got bad enough to interfere with my sleep and my work. With the help of prescription allergy medicine, hopefully I will get my life back. School starts again this week, so I can’t get well soon enough.

This will be my final quarter in school. I will graduate with my master’s degree at the end of spring, but until then there is a lot of work to do. I’ll work on Guns & Roses whenever I can, but probably won’t be able to make significant progress until summer.

    Impressive… most impressive!

  2. It sounds like you got your immigration issues straightened out! Good, good!

@Steven: As a matter of fact, my immigrant worker petition was approved just this month. While they can’t grant me permanent residency for a few more years (there’s a limit to how many green cards they can give out each year) my worker’s visa is now indefinitely extendable. I won’t be forced to leave the USA any more.

I never really understood what screen tones were… even until now. Are they just designs you copy into your drawing to add shading?

I’d also think that a palace looks more grand when it’s surrounded by smaller houses, just like how a medieval castle is actually a small city. Of course, that’d take outrageous amounts of time, but putting in another roof or three would make it seem like a bustling community~

  5. I’m very glad to hear that.

    Very nice!

@Rulez, The MUSHY: Here you go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIkgvxmHv4I (Note: these are traditional screen tones. Digital tones are probably less tedious)
